The franchisees for the Midtown Crossing location are passionate about giving back to their community, which fits closely with the values of Smokin’ Oak Wood-Fired Pizza. A portion of their profits will go to the Open Door Mission in Omaha, where “hope begins with a meal”. Every day, the mission serves nearly 5,000 meals, offers over 900 shelter beds and provides 40 different programs.
This marks the first Taproom for Smokin’ Oak Wood-Fired Pizza, which has wines, mixed cocktails, beer and ciders using a self-serve system. The guest opens a tab, presents their ID, and is then given a bracelet enabled with an RFID chip. They’ll then grab a glass, peruse the wall, and then activate the tap and pour their drink. Tapologists are there to assist the Guest with the taproom wall and answer any questions they have about specific drinks.
