FRISCO, Texas. – Smokin’ Oak Wood-Fired Pizza – the fast casual wood-fired pizza franchise known for its unique spin on wood-fired pizza and their self pour taproom wall, is excited to announce the grand opening of its location in Frisco, TX at the Stonebriar Mall, 2601 Preston Road at the intersection of SH-121 and the Dallas North Tollway. The restaurant is located between H&M and Barnes & Noble/Cheesecake Factory with the entrance to the restaurant outside of the mall.
To celebrate their grand opening, the restaurant will be providing free pizza to all Guests from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. each day, Friday – Sunday August 4th, 5th and 6th.
The Frisco Chamber of Commerce will be doing its ribbon cutting on Wednesday, August 2nd at 3:30 p.m. The restaurant is also holding weekly events which will be sure to draw a crowd, including trivia on Monday nights hosted by Geeks Who Drink, Table Card Gaming (TCG) on Tuesday’s and Singo (Musical Bingo) on Thursdays. Live music will be held on select Friday nights. Events are updated weekly on the restaurant’s Facebook page.
With its open plan kitchen where Guests can see their pizzas being made and baked in the wood-fired oven, the restaurant offers a truly unique experience.
This is the first self-pour tap wall for Smokin’ Oak Pizza in the DFW area. Forty self-pour taps with craft and domestic beers, wines and even mixed cocktails are available. To use the Taproom wall, a guest will start a tab, be provided with an RFID-enabled bracelet, and will then explore the taproom wall and pour their own drink.

Smokin’ Oak Wood-Fired Pizza and Taproom features a full menu of wood-fired pizzas, sandwiches, salads, starters, and even desserts. The oven, fueled by oak wood, gets to about 900 degrees and cooks pizzas in about two minutes. The brand delivers an enjoyable pizza experience through its open-plan kitchen, which allows customers to customize and watch their pizzas being made right in front of them. The dough and sauces are made in-house, veggies are cut fresh throughout the day, and even the meats are roasted in the wood-fired oven to infuse real oak wood flavor.
The Frisco location also features a 140 inch LED TV to provide fans with the ultimate sports experience. For guests who’d like to host small events, there is also a separate lounge, semi-private dining area and an outdoor patio.
