Pi Day is one of the biggest days in the Smokin’ Oak Wood-Fired Pizza calendar. It’s truly a ‘community’ day for us, as each of our Franchise Partners aligns themselves with a local community organization to raise funds for that organization while providing a great value for our Guests on March 14th with $3.14 pizzas.
Supporting local communities is important for us, and it’s important to us that our Franchise Partners support organizations that are near and dear to their heart, and will have an impact in the community they reside.
Guests make their donation at the point of sale (either by adding it to their ticket or through a cash donation) or if aligned with a food bank, a canned food item.
Below are a few that we will benefit with this year’s celebration:
Austin, TX: Central Texas Food Bank
Brooksville, FL: K-9 Partners for Patriots
Broomfield, CO: Epic Experience
Fayetteville, AR: Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
Frisco, TX: Soldiers’ Angels
Grand Junction, CO: Steppin’ It Up
Omaha, NE: inCommon Community Development
With $3.14 pizza all day, our restaurants have been hard at work getting ready for the day, making sure we have enough scratch made dough and oven roasted meats, and ensuring that we’ve chopped our veggies and our made in-house sauces are ready to go. We always sleep well the night of March 14th!
