Smokin’ Oak Wood-Fired Pizza brings the Naples, Italy pizza experience to Brooksville and Spring Hill, Florida!
Local owners, Rod and Cat Scott, are thrilled to share Smokin’ Oak Wood-Fired Pizza and Taproom with their local community. Rod says, “Wood-fired pizza has the same flavor and intensity of the original Italian pizzerias.”
The Brooksville location features the only self-serve taproom in Hernando County and is the first Smokin’ Oak Wood-Fired Pizza and self-pour Taproom location in Florida. “Our taproom features lots of local craft beers from the Tampa Bay Area and around the state of Florida”, says Rod, who proudly selected local beers to offer as part of their local taproom selections.
Rod and Cat are very involved in the local community from Brooksville to Spring Hill to Weeki Wachee, and they are always looking for ways to give back and pay it forward. They are Veteran owned and operated, which is very important to Rod. As a Wounded Warrior and an animal lover, Rod and Cat looked for ways to support both. “We have chosen K9 Partners for Patriots in Brooksville and Veterans of Foreign Wars, SSG Michael Wayne Schafer, Post 10209 as our philanthropic partnerships,” says Rod. “We are a military family that supports veterans and animals. “What better way to give back than support an organization that trains animals for veterans with PTSD and other disabilities?”
