Our core restaurant model is approximately 2,000 square feet and serves our wood-fired pizza and other menu items in a fast-casual environment. Since we are able to bake our pizzas in about two minutes, it’s usually just 5-8 minutes from the time someone orders their food until it’s delivered to them at their table.  The Franchisee has a choice to sell beer and wine, and whether it’s in draft or bottle form.

Smokin’ Oak Wood-Fired
Pizza & Taproom

Our taproom restaurant model is taking our wood-fired pizza and other menu items and pairing it with a self-serve beer, wine and in some locations, even mixed drinks! Smokin’ Oak Wood-Fired Pizza and Taproom is for the Franchisee who is looking to create a unique experience for their Guests and their community. We’ve made it easy for a Guest to enjoy the many varieties of drinks on the taproom wall.  They will get an RFID bracelet from our Cashier, and then when they find a drink they’d like to try, they then tap it on a sensor which activates the tap.  The Guest can pour anywhere from one to twelve ounces at a time.  It’s a great way for a Guest to try a drink they wouldn’t normally try and creates an experience to enjoy with family and friends.  Our Taproom restaurants range in size from 3,000 – 3,500 square feet.

The take-out and delivery model is ideal for the Franchisee who is looking for a lower cost investment option. This model only requires 600-800 square feet because there is no dining room.  Like the other models, Guests can phone in their orders, order for pick-up online through the website, or use third party delivery companies.  Depending on the space they are going into, the initial investment range is approximately $150,000 – $250,000.

Our food truck or food trailer models bring Smokin’ Oak Wood-Fired Pizza on the road! Franchisees have the option of a food truck or a food trailer. Both are 24 feet long and 7 feet wide, and include everything needed to make and bake wood-fired pizzas, including the oven!  The food trailer requires a towing vehicle similar to a Ford F-250. The food does not require a separate vehicle for towing.  The food truck and trailer must accompany either the core model, the taproom model or the takeout and delivery model.

From our 2020 FDD, the Income Before Owner’s Salary of 20.1% for the ‘core’ restaurant model.
