Hello, Texas! Smokin’ Oak Wood-Fired Pizza Signs Deal to Enter Austin, TX Market

Smokin’ Oak Wood-Fired Pizza, the fastest growing wood-fired pizza franchise in the US, has announced they’ll be entering the Austin, TX market with new Franchise Partner ElementoP, LLC.

Ed Juline and Gary and Tiffany Lauchlan, the Franchisees bringing Smokin’ Oak Wood-Fired Pizza to Austin, have the goal of becoming the area developers for the brand in Austin.  Gary and Tiffany live in the Austin area and will run the day to day operations.  Gary has extensive experience in Food Service as a leader and operator with several national brands.

They were looking for a Wood-Fired Pizza brand where they could command the market and grow multiple locations. 

Their criteria in selecting a business included:

  • Wood-Fired Pizza Experts (yeah we are!)
  • Strategic short and long term Marketing Systems (we’ve invested heavily in our systems for Franchisee support…check out the news article about our recent Jostle award!)
  • Ability to open multiple stores (we love Austin and believe it’s a great market for us to grow with Ed, Tiffany and Gary!)
  • Strong systems and support in place from the Franchisor (aww, thanks!)

Not only are they bringing great wood-fired pizza to Austin, but they’ll also be adding a taproom to their location.  The taproom concept is on fire!  By adding self-serve taps that dispense both beer and wine, a Franchisee is creating a totally fresh Guest experience by combining their love for our wood-fired pizza with the fun of a self serve tap wall, where craft beer and wine will be front and center for all Guests to enjoy.

Ed, Tiffany and Gary are searching for the perfect location in Austin and we are looking forward to serving up our wood-fired pizza very soon!
